Hello! Just a quick update, because I'm really excited about this ;)

[livejournal.com profile] electroncat and I are doing another panel this year at Anime Weekend Atlanta, EGL 101, at 3pm on Friday of the convention (room location unknown), and later The EGL Social (host by Lauren Goodman) at 6pm in the Ascot Room. On Sunday, I believe [livejournal.com profile] electroncat will be doing a Dollfie Panel as well.

This is just an informl announcement, and the times/locations are subject to change. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll make up an answer ;) Stay tuned for a more formal announcment here and in [livejournal.com profile] egl

I think the problem is that some people prefer to attend these kinds of events in costume, and just don't seem to have much fun if they aren't. I know I've felt that way about some things before, generally more about a convention in general than just a certain type of costume. A person knows there will be lots of people costuming, and if she doesn't have a costume she feels left out. I always do this when I have absolutely NOTHING to wear for a con, and I flip out, so I think I understand.

Anyway, I keep saying that I'm "hoping to have my EGL costume finished" by the time a certain event rolls around. I really hope that I have mine finished by then, but even if I don't I'll probably be there--unless my friends drag me elsewhere because they're bored. *laughs and hugs* Thanks for letting us know about this.

It's a difficult habit to break out of, really. ^^

I know that we will, and that this will turn out just wonderfully! *bounce* It's going to have a great turnout, of in costume AND out of costume people. And no, you aren't being selfish. This is for everyone, not just you.

*jumps at the poking* Well, it all really depends on if I get my bodice back from my friend. She said she'd help, and has from what I understand done more damage than good. -_- Hasn't even attached what she said she was going to attach, because she kept sewing it on, screwing up, seamripping, and trying again. She also "fixed" some of my seams, and I'm afraid to ask what that means. But anyway, enough rambling about my costume. If it's done, I'll wear it. If not, I'll wench out or something. ^_~

Your brain won't explode, although it might feel like it has. *hugs* Good luck organizing everything!
