emiko and myself will be happy for you to join us for tea at the Atlanta Ritz Carlton on Saturday September 1, 2007 at 2:30 in the afternoon. This is a lolita gathering, so please come dressed in proper attire. Non-lolita friends and significant others are welcome so long as they pre-pay along with you and dress appropriately. We are trying to get a professional photographer or two to come and take pictures of the event, and so you may want to dress up a little extra so you can get some nice pictures. ^_^

♡ RSVP + Pre-Payment Required!!! ♡
You must RSVP by August 20th to attend this event! You must also pre-pay by via paypal or money order. This is so that there will be less confusion when we go to pay for the event and also to pay for door prizes and such. We want the event to run as smoothly as possible, and pre-payment will help that along.

Please send your RSVP to littlekats(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject "Dragon*Con Tea Party". Once you send your email with your reservation request, you will be given information on how to pay. Please list the name you would like to be called at the tea-party as well as the name of anyone else you are making a reservation for.

♡ Directions from Dragon*Con ♡
The Ritz is located a couple of blocks up Peachtree Street from the main convention hotels. If you are standing in the lobby of the Hyatt facing the front entrance on Peachtree Street, go out and turn left. Continue up Peachtree Street. You will pass the Hard Rock Cafe as well as a McDonald, and the Ritz will be on the corner of Peachtree Street and Ellis Street. You will enter in the doors located on that corner and walk down the stairs inside. To your left is The Lobby Lounge where the tea-party will take place.

Could you be more specific on what you mean exactly by non-loli friends dressing appropriately?

What I mean is that other people shouldn't detract from the mood of the tea-party. Non-lolita friends should get a bit dressed up and not come in khakis or jeans or other generally super-casual clothes. ^^

Dragon*con is... Well, here's a link to their website: http://www.dragoncon.org

It's a (mostly) Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Comics/Gaming/etc convention... in recent years it's become more of 'A Reason to Party All Weekend' convention XD You could say lolitas are welcome, in that way that anybody and anything (within reason) is welcome. There's something for everyone~

Anyway, it's a fun con. The one year I've gone I didn't go to a single event or panel, but I had a blast!
